Free Mindfulness Practices and Guided Excercises

Below are some guided mindfulness exercises and meditations I’ve developed for my clients and meditation students and I am offering them here freely as streaming audio, mp3 download, and as podcasts.

You can listen to them here as streaming audio or right click on the title to download as an mp3.

There is also a link at the bottom of the page to subscribe to them as podcasts. If you choose to subscribe you will receive every audio offering I make in the future as they are available. You can use any application that receives .rss feeds. ‘Itunes’ is one example of this. These are also available for free on the Itunes store.

Please use these exercises and meditations at your own discretion. If you feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable at any point, discontinue the exercise.

Breath Awareness Meditation

This is a simple mindfulness meditation focusing on the breath to build awarness, concentration and mindfulness. Promotes relaxation and groundedness and is appropriate for those new to meditation, or just beginning to meditate.

Guided Deep Relaxation

This is a cross between a progressive relaxation and a mindfulness of body exercise. This will help you to become more familiar with your inner landscape, feel more connected to yourself and begin to build a reliable internal resource for relaxing more deeply.
